Our New Powder Coating Facility

Malcolms has invested in a new powder coating facility, purpose-built to extend our capabilities to larger and more oversized components. As industries increasingly demand durable, high-quality finishes on bigger parts and assemblies, this facility ensures we can meet that demand without compromising on quality or turnaround.

The facility features a dedicated manual spray booth designed specifically for oversized parts, using bespoke trollies to safely support and manoeuvre large components throughout the coating process. This allows for precise, controlled application even on parts that would be difficult to accommodate in a standard setup.

For hung work, the facility operates on a powder track offering both automatic and manual spray capability. This dual approach means the application method can be matched to the size, shape and specification of each individual part, combining the consistency of automated spraying with the flexibility and attention to detail of manual application where it's needed most.

The facility is also fully equipped for colour changing, allowing a wide range of finishes and colours to be applied to suit each customer's exact specification, with minimal disruption between jobs.
